Tommasi Valpolicella Ripasso

A 'baby Amarone' made by refermenting Valpolicella on Amarone grape skins, then ageing in large Slavonian oak. Cherry jam, tobacco and black pepper, full and smooth with silky tannins and a long, savoury finish. Great with braised beef, roast pork, mushroom pasta or aged cheese.
